A Grandparents Day was held at Disa Park Pre-Primary on Thursday 22 September 2011. Grannies and grandpas were treated to a show by the children, followed by a tea with a sumptuous spread of delicious eats.
Each class sang songs and recited rhymes to the adoring audience. The school was decorated with artwork that had been created by the children especially for the occasion, and each grandparent was given something special made by their grandchild. We set up a photo corner where families could be photographed commemorate the day.
